Billy has been in the financial services industry since 1996 after more than 10-years as a winning quarter-horse jockey. Billy’s financial services career began in 1996 when he served as a senior vice president of investments with PaineWebber. He went on to serve as a senior vice president of wealth management with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney before pursuing independence in 2009 by opening his own financial services company, Peterson Wealth Services, Inc. He is a Certified Financial Planner and holds his Series 3, 9, 10, 63 and 65 licenses. He became a CDFA in 2011 and began offering divorce financial consulting to individuals, couples and their legal advisors. Billy has extensive experience in asset valuation and division analysis for complex estates and high net worth individuals. Helping divorcing couples find the solution that works best for them as well as their children is his priority and commitment. Billy resides in Morgan, Utah with his wife Heather and their youngest daughters. They breed and raise horses on their property known as Buck Way Ranch.
