This workshop will guide you through the structure and strategy needed to confidently use your CDFA designation. Not only will we begin with what is needed before your first divorcing client walks through the door, but this workshop will help you learn how to professionally handle prospects/clients and issues that arise as your CDFA practice grows to ensure your success. This workshop will be most suitable for those who have obtained their CDFA designation within the last few years and want to confidently take their divorce niche to the next level. Covered topics include:

Learning Objectives:

• Conducting initial conversations with prospects and clients
• Necessary literature and resources you will need to get started (engagement agreements, intake forms, etc.)
• Data collection and meeting protocol and putting systems into place
• Charging for your services and billing practices
• Preparing financial scenarios and projections for clients
• Ways to successfully work with other divorce professionals
• Ideas for marketing your divorce niche
• Post-divorce follow up

3.5 CFP & CDFA Credits

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received up to one month before the conference are refundable, minus a $100 registration service charge. After that, cancellations are subject to the entire fee, which you may apply toward a future conference or workshop. Please note: if you don’t cancel and don’t attend, you are still responsible for payment. Substitutions may be made at any time.
