Robust cybersecurity practices are essential for businesses of all sizes, regardless of whether you are single-person operation out of your home office or a global fortune 500 organization. But where do you begin and how do you know if what you are doing is enough? What happens if I am attacked? Do I have an incident response plan?

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has developed numerous frameworks that set a minimum baseline for good corporate practices as well as Ransomware Readiness. Additionally, the Federal Trade Commission recently released new ‘Safeguards’ requirements of non-banking financial institutions and ‘finders’ which the FTC defines as companies that bring together buyers and sellers.

How might this impact you? We’ll explore these basic cybersecurity requirements and how they can support your business.
