The goal of this program is to position the application of the CFP Board's Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct as the foundation for ethical financial planning. Included in this course:

- Understanding the CFP® Board’s Code and Standards and the fiduciary duties of financial planners
- Emphasis on client disclosure requirements and potential conflicts of interest

Approved for Two (2) hours of CDFA and CFP CE Credit.

Peggy resides with her husband on Glenayr Farm in central Virginia where they raise champion Airedale terriers and Angus cattle.

Joan is the Director of Advanced Planning with Transitus Wealth Partners LLC.  Joan has a B.A. from the University of Minnesota in 1976. In 1987 she earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation.  In 2001 the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation was added.

Joan is a Certified Financial Planner working in Louisiana, with a total of 38+  years of financial industry experience. Joan is also part of a select number of advisors at FTI/SMI who has earned the Certified Financial Transitionist® (CeFT®) designation. She specializes in focusing on retirement planning with people who have had major life events, mostly widows and retirement.
